The Rockboxed talking Sansa Fuze MP3 Player

The Sansa Fuze is about the size of a credit card and about as thick as 4 or 5 credit cards put together.  It fits nicely in your pocket or in a protective case.  Navigation of the menus and folders and files is accomplished with a scroll wheel.

Note: The latest Talking Mp3 Player we have available is the Sansa Clip Plus also in 4 or 8gb on our Sansa Clip page. Many find the Clip easier for navigation due to having buttons rather than a scroll wheel. We generally sell them at a lower price as the Sansa Fuze is no longer being manufactured.

On this talking MP3 player, you can create your own folders, copy and paste folders and files into it, and set up your music library any way you want.  It's under your control.

When you purchase your player from us, it'll arrive completely set up for use and speaking the menus, sub-menus, folders, and files, *you can enable the speaking of your own folders and files with the use of the included utility*, All system information is spoken, i.e. battery charge level, time and date, how much space is left on your player and microSD card, etc.

This MP3 player plays MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, FLAC, MP4, M4A, AIFF, plus many more other file types, *excluding any encrypted/protected files*.  The built-in FM Radio is fully accessible and has a capacity of 64 presets.  You can record from the FM radio or record voice notes through the built-in mono microphone.  It has great bookmarking capabilities, able to maintain your 10 most recent bookmarks.

You can expand your player's memory by using microSD or microSDHC cards, of which we carry the 4, 8, and 16-GB cards.  Note: not all microSD cards are compatible with every device, so if you purchase your memory cards elsewhere, be sure you can return them for a different brand if they prove to be incompatible with your player.  We test the memory cards we sell to ensure compatibility with our players.

The 4 GB Fuze is great for those of you who like to have a good amount of built-in memory for storing your favorite files.  You can store up to 1000 songs!  You can also expand your storage with the use of microSDHC cards.  I like the size, which is about the size of a credit card but just a little bit thicker, and it weighs next to nothing in my shirt pocket.

The Sansa Fuze with 8 GB is an excellent choice for people who like to have the highest amount of built-in memory available in the Fuze models.  You can store up to 2000 songs!  This is a neat and very-light player which is capable of doing so much with the Rockbox firmware installed.  This is the top of the line in the Fuze models.
